A project set over the summer to respond with an alternative portait. I found this rather challenging after doing so many personal pieces already (Journey, Re:Live- even the portrait photography module) In the end I wanted to try something different- my style was emerging as being rather soft and feminine (which was in no way a bad thing) however I wanted to take a slightly different path and went for a much darker and moodier representation.
The shots represent myself and the emotions I went through over the summer. I achieved the look by shining light through black stencils.
